Ein Gericht in Paris hat Marine Le Pen für schuldig befunden. Sie hat Geld von der EU angenommen. Das Gericht hat ihre Strafe aber geändert.

Jetzt darf sie legal bei der Präsidentschaftswahl im April 2027 kandidieren. Aber sie hat ein neues Problem. Sie muss ein Jahr lang zu Hause bleiben und ein spezielles elektronisches Gerät am Bein tragen. Le Pen sagt, sie hasse dieses Gerät. Sie wird nicht kandidieren, wenn sie es tragen muss. Sie will sich persönlich mit den Leuten treffen.

Sollte sie aufgeben, wird ein junger Mann aus ihrer Partei, Jordan Bardella, versuchen, der neue Präsident Frankreichs zu werden.
